The Russian Ballet

We went to watch the Russian ballet at the Civic Theatre on Sunday - it was absolutely gorgeous!



The Programme included:





George Bizet – Carmen (One Act Ballet)


P.Tchaikovsky – Swan Lak – Pas de Deux


L. Minkus – Grand Pad de Deux – Don Quixote


A. Glazounov – Extract from Ballet – RaymondaC. Saint-Saens – “The Dying Swan”

Maddison absolutely loved it - afterall, she wants to be a ballerina when she grows up!

It snowed

Well - it snowed in Jo'burg!!!

I have only experienced snow once in my lifetime when I was about 3 years old and it was magical.

Maddison was so totally beside herself - her and I were hanging out of the window at 1am on the morning of 27 June watching the snow and then we were out at 7am again playing.
